Raymond ... the main man at Los Almendros. Not sure if we will make it back this year but if ever there was a reason to return, he started working there again!
Absolutely love this place, very clean, tidy, very friendly staff. . always naked (normally very hung) men at the poolside, in the jacuzzi, easy access to jumbo centre and the dunes. . some of the bunglows have been recently updated with flatscreens and excellent walkin showers with jet spays. . . complex now has a big sauna (excellent cruising) . . the list of good things about Los Almendros goes on and on . . . Raymond, Scott, Graham, Morris and all the team keep up the great work . . we deffo be back again and again and again. . .
I would recommend los almendros as simply the best gay accomodation in gran canaria. I have stayed there for several years and made many great friends.
I look forward to my next visit.
Guys we were just about to book again but can you confirm the changes here...??? I.E. Mixed?? Is this right?? as sorry if its changed then we will not be looking to come back (shame we have been a few times now and loved it before)
conozco algunos resort gays de canarias pero como este ninguno, los apartamentos son los mejores que yo he conocido y para colmo de los colmos tenemos una animacion especial....se llama carlos y es divina.....jajaja, de verdad, la cerveza en el bar de la piscina no es lo mismo si no esta ese camarero llamado carlos, saca las fuerzas de donde no las hay y anima a todo el mundo guapos mas guapos y los normales como yo.....jajajaja. de verdad que el ambiente del bar es inmejorable, la piscina es un hervidero de tios guapos y con la alegria que proporciona el carlitos te pasas el dia en el recinto la mar de bien....
son superlimpios muy atentos y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites
un abrazo para la recepcion la jardineria y sobretodo al camarero mas dicharachero

notre séjour a Los Almendros a été vraiment super. apres 4 ans de tests sur les différents resort gay de playa /maspalomas nous avons enfin trouvé le lieu ou aller. Chambres tres propres, personnel exceptionnellement poli, accueillant et honnète, resort superbement entretenu, localisation pratique et calme meme si en plein centre ville, cadre superbe...et un bonus a Carlos au bar qui se révele etre la personne la plus charmante que nous ayons rencontré dans un resort gay. merci

Definitivamente el mejor sitio en la zona de Maspalomas para quedarse de vacaciones. Todos los empleados que están cara al público merecen un diez, Raymond en la recepción, el señor que lo arregla todo, Michael por la mañanas y como no, Carlos el resto del día en el bar. Nada de lo que han escrito antes es cierto: ES MUCHO MEJOR QUE TODO ESO!!!
Mi pareja i yo ya estuvimos en Los Almendros y fue muy bien, ahora repetimos para finales de Abril. Si alguien más a viajar por esas fechas podemos quedar para tomar algo, piscina, sol, playa,... Saludos. Jose

tenia pensado volver este verano y eso que la estancia no es nada barat, por lo que cuesta me voy a un 4 estrellas, pero si no esta carlos no creo que valla, me ire a otro sitio ya no me merece la pena
Hola a todos, estuvimos una semana en los almendros, un resort bien acogedor por lo que se refiere a la estructura, al barman Ricardo muy simpatico y sociable, a los manager y gente de recepcion bien disponibles, lo mismo no puedo decir por lo que se refeire a las señoras de limpieza, que nos han hecho encontrar a nuestra llegada un bungalow lleno de humo y con aire pesimo, por no hablar de las limpiezas diaria, al ver el primer dia que con el mismo medio cubo de agua lavan por adentro y por afuera 5 bungalows seguido ni las dejamos entrar en lo sioguientes dias en el nuestro, preferimos hacerlas nosotros, esa no es limpieza es solo revolver la suciedad. Otro tema es el acceso a la piscina de muejeres hetherosexuales, a veces en pareja, que es en contradiccion con la exclusividad gay del resort.
Hi guys, th eresort is very good as concerns the infrastructure, the very funny barman Ricardo and the very friendly staff at the recepcion. One big question mark is the cleaness of the spot, when we arrived we stepped in our bungalow full of smoke and the houskeeper are used to wash 5 bungalows with the same half bucket of water...no way, this is not hygiene....another point is the acces to the swimming-pool of girls with their boyfriend, no way in a gay-lesbian resort.....

Hola, me gustaría saber si suelen ir chicas a Los Almendros normalmente, en Agosto voy a ir con varios amigos una semana y solo vamos dos chicas y por lo que estoy leyendo solo van chicos por ahi, no es que busquemos chicas para ligar, simplemente por saber si vamos a ser las únicas mujeres del complejo, cosa que nos corta un poco jejeje. Not long back from a brilliant stay at Los Almendros. The resort is well run by friendly, helpful people. The bungalows are serviced daily and the pool and gardens kept neat and tidy. Bar staff aint bad either! What else do you need for a great holiday?

con este msg me gustaria agradecer a RICARDO toda su atencion para que estas vacaciones hayan sido fantasticas.. sin RICARDO en la barra, el complejo no seria el mismo y la atmosfera que se respira no tendria ni punto de comparacion.
Seguramente repetire esta experiencia siempre y cuando el siga trabajando en el bar e impregnando con su actitud los dias en los almendros,,,,
ahora tambien he de comentar algun punto negativo como el hecho de que la conexion wifi este solo disponible en un area muy reducida del complejo (creo que en breve esto estara resuelto )y que la sauna no ha estado abierta ni un solo dia.
por lo demas en lo que se refiere a los bungalows y el complejo en si no tengo nada malo que comentar sino todo lo contrario...

acabamos de llegar de allí y ya lo echamos de menos, en general todo, la tranquilidad, lo bonito que es todo, el buen trato...., desde ricardo que es genial y buen consejero, a las chicas dela limpieza que son supermajas, el poder tranquilamente tomar el sol en una tumbona en la puerta de tu bungalow desnudo, la piscina y el jacuzzi que se está genial, los amigotes que se hacen allí, y tantas cosas que nos marchamos con pena.
Nosotros vamos a volver, a sido nuestro mejor viaje, bueno un saludo a todos especialmente a ricardo, raymond, nuestras chicas de la limpieza y nuestros amigotes. UN BESITO A TODOS, muaaaaaaaks.

comme les temps changent rapidement de nos jours. Nous avions decouver los almendros en septembre 2009 et nous l avions apprecie. depuis nous y sommes revenus deux fos et a chaque fois nous avons remarque un laisse alle de plus en plus important en ce qui concerne la qualite des frequentations et le comportement de la clientele. Le calme ne regne plus au bord de la piscine certaines fois et la sobriete non plus. Los almendros reste un endroit agreable mais pas un endroit pour se reposer la journee. Alors allez a la plage gay la au moins vous etes surs de voir de beaux mecs et de choisir si oui ou non vous voulez le silence
